Security Analyst II

A Security Analyst II primary objective is to handle a broad spectrum of cybersecurity tasks to the betterment of the security posture of our clients, security knowledge of our partners, and cybersecurity awareness in our community.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

Security Assessments

  • Perform technical review and GAP analysis of key security controls
    • Includes compliance where applicable
  • Document all findings per 1nteger standards
  • Complete assessment within budget
  • Maintain communication with client
  • Prepare gap analysis report
  • Assist in client meetings
  • Assist with technical consulting
  • Assist with sales engineering for remediation items

Incident Response

  • Primary escalation point for ICS
    • Work with ICS SIRT to execute ICS Incident Response process
  • First response for 1nteger MSSP clients SIRT
  • Assist in root cause analysis documentation
  • Communicate all phases fully with SIRT and client

Managed Security

  • Perform key security control checks and audits
  • Assist with policies and procedure review & guidance
  • Conduct routine review meetings
  • Documentation of tasks, findings, and client details

Knowledge Base and Technical Skills

  • Possess a security skillset equivalent to Security+ level of expertise
  • Possess a network skillset equivalent to Network+ level of expertise
  • Solid foundation in Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and above, Windows 7 and above and Office 365
  • Proficient with common protocols/services (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SMTP, RDP, FTP etc.)
  • Familiarity with common security tools – vulnerability scanners, port scanners, Kali Linux
  • Familiarity with common compliance standards – HIPAA, NIST, DFS, PCI
  • Familiarity with Linux desktop environment

Communication and Personal Skills

  • Must be able to maintain own schedule and be accountable
  • Uphold and promote cybersecurity industry ethics
  • Strong desire to do the right thing and protect clients, company and community
  • Strong desire to learn, better your peers and raise the level of the entire team
  • Project management / account management level of communication skills

  • Network+ or Security+ preferred but not required
  • Associates degree or 5 years experience

IT Systems Engineer (Level 2)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Engineer with a focus on core Microsoft products and platforms. Candidates must have in-depth experience implementing, administering, and supporting IT infrastructures for our growing company.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the engineering and implementation of various Microsoft technologies:

  • Expected to assist with IT support at other locations. Some travel may be required. (Less than 20%)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail is essential
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of server and networking hardware in accordance with industry best practices
  • Install, upgrade, and remove server and/or desktop applications
  • Interface with other elements of our support structure including tracking end-user issues, updating client tickets, and ensuring closure
  • On call for IT Support

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of relevant, hands-on experience troubleshooting and supporting Windows-based servers and workstation systems

  • MS Windows Server related design and support experience is desired

  • 5–7+ hands-on experience working with Microsoft Windows Architecture – MS Windows Server 2008/2012 Server, Exchange 2007/2010/2013, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services

  • Experience with documentation for system builds, configurations, support procedures

  • Moderate hands-on experience with VMware ESX, VDI, Hyper-v, or Citrix is a plus
    Experience with diverse hardware platforms (Dell, IBM, HP)

  • Troubleshooting enterprise server and networking hardware/software

  • Expected to assist with IT support at other locations. Some travel may be required. (Less than 20%)

  • Management and implementation of projects in all phases and aspects including communication with team and customers and according to industry best practices
  • Hands-on engineering and deployment of server and networking hardware

  • 7+ years of relevant, hands-on experience implementing and supporting Windows and Linux based servers and workstation systems
  • MS Windows Server related design and support experience is desired
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Architecture – MS Windows Server 2008/2012 Server, Exchange 2007/2010/2013, SQL Server, Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services
  • 3–5 years of systems deployment, server migration, Microsoft server upgrades, and systems integration project experience is desired
  • Experience with documentation for system builds, configurations, support procedures
  • Moderate to extensive experience with Hyper-V/vSphere and vCenter/System Center environments, including setup, implementation, and support
  • Experience with diverse hardware platforms (Dell, IBM, HP)
  • Must have solid troubleshooting skills with hardware/networking and software
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architecture and of TCP/IP

Telecommunication Technician

A Telecommunications Technician performs work in the repair, programming, and maintenance of industry-standard VOIP telephone systems. They will also support security and access control systems as needed. The work is performed under general supervision often without specific instruction. They receive their daily work from their dispatcher and supervision.

Position Overview and Responsibilities

  • Plan network installations by studying customer orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications.
  • Repair and maintain various types of telephone systems, including but not limited to: NEC and Zultys and other VIOP systems
  • Install and configure software for voicemail systems, upgrade firmware for phone management console and voicemail manager software. 
  • Install telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, alarms, security cameras. 
  • Establish networks by running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables. Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber
  • Maintain network by troubleshooting and repairing outages, testing network back-up procedures and updating documentation
  • Maintain customer rapport by listening to and resolving concerns.  

Requirements

  • Considerable knowledge of the installation, maintenance, and repair of NEC, Zultys and/or other mainstream VIOP solution is a huge plus.
  • Must have experience in reading wiring diagrams
  • Demonstrated ability to follow installation and operation manuals and to work safely and efficiently with various types of equipment and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and assume responsibility for repair of assigned equipment without direct supervision
  • Strong communication and ability to investigate, identify and correct problems in assigned work areas
  • Must be a team player and work effectively with other teammates
  • Requiring two years of satisfactory performance as a telecommunications technician 
  • Attention to detail is key 
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
